Gujarat’s coastline holds some of India’s most revered pilgrimage sites, and this trip strings them together into one unhurried route. It opens in Dwarka, one of the four Char Dham, with darshan at the Dwarkadhish Temple and an evening aarti by the Gomti Ghat, before moving on to Porbandar — Mahatma Gandhi’s birthplace — and its Kirti Mandir and Sudama Temple. From there, the journey continues to Somnath, home to one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and a light-and-sound show that brings its history to life, before ending in Ahmedabad with a walk through Sabarmati Ashram and a look at the intricate stepwell architecture of Adalaj. It’s a trip built around faith, history, and the quiet dignity of Gujarat’s temple towns, with enough breathing room between stops to actually take each one in.
